Just before last weekend I got a Twitter message from another recumbent cyclist (Wilfred a.k.a. @xlnetwork), requesting me to place the above link on my blog. While my first thought was not to do it, after giving it some more thought I did agree on it, with this blog post as a result ;-).
So what has changed my mind? The honest idea of another recumbent cyclist asking an honest question; the fact of trying to fulfill a personal goal (cycling across the US in a velomobile) and thereby helping others, in this case children with a specific form of cancer. It is a very noble action that I’d like to support in this way and financially.
